Built from the classroom outward.
AugDapt started with the slowest job of a teacher’s week: marking. Not because marking is the point, but because it is where a teacher’s judgement about a learner is most concentrated and least used. A mark is written, handed back, and forgotten by everyone except the teacher who made it.
We wanted those moments to connect. Marking that informs teaching. Teaching that informs practice. Practice that creates new evidence. And a family that hears about it in a way that helps. Each product in AugDapt is one of those moments; the ecosystem is the connection between them.
The name is the principle. Augmenting Adaptation: technology should augment people so they can adapt with greater confidence. It helps organise, suggest and surface patterns. The judgement stays with the educator.
